Section 1 Course Description
In this course you will study multiple structures which underly mathematics we have seen before and more mathematics we will see in this course. Through these structures we will increase our ability to read and comprehend definitions.
The course covers theory of groups, rings, and fields.
Course outcomes include
- define, identify and give examples of algebraic structures, and
- state and prove basic theorems about algebraic structures.
